This is an
interesting summer, one in which I’ve been pouring on some extra mythology
work, a good part because of a former student emailing me asking some detailed
and interesting questions. Since I’m a sucker for mythology, of course I’m
going to answer and get into a very detailed conversation about myths.
Not to
mention mythology makes up a large part of my writing. I love ferreting out the
stuff between the lines and putting my own spin on mythologies (while still
preserving as much of the source material as possible). So I gladly declare
this the summer of myth!
I do wish
that Thor would come by with the Casket of Ancient Winters, though. It’s
frigging hot here!
