F3 Flash Fiction Friday

     In order to get myself on a more regular posting schedule, I'm going to try some regular features by stealing and modifying one I saw on the Deadline Dames known as the Readers on Deadline.
Essentially, I shall write a piece of flash fiction on Fridays (F³) in response to some picture. I'm happy to look at pictures submitted by readers in comments or to my email, but if none are forthcoming, I'll soldier forth and find my own picture.
     Tomorrow will be the first of this series, and I've already found the picture. Hopefully by t end of next week someone will submit a picture I can use, or I'll find one.
