F3 Nightmares

"The stuff of nightmares doesn't belong to Lovecraftian descriptions of horror, nor does it belong to King's more believable portrayals of the known becoming horrific.
True nightmares resonate deep in the soul of the individual. As someone who's seen Lovecraftian horrors attempt entry into the world, I've gone beyond them. The worst nightmares echo what I've done. My biggest nightmare, the one that most often wakes me, is losing my hotel key, and me naked in the hall.
      "It also happens a lot."
The desk clerk looked at my face. "Sir, I will need your name to issue you a new key."
     "Jack Dailey."
"Thank you, sir. Please refrain from leaning your body against the desk. It will have to be washed."
