F3 Elves

Dwarves were surly, raucous, often drunk, and loved to fight, especially while drunk. The only thing against them were their choice of songs. Elves, though, were proper, pious, fond of ritual, and severe. They had a habit of looking down their noses at anyone not meeting their standard. Especially dwarves. I didn't like Elves. I hated their drinks even more.
Their spirits tended towards ultra-refined and altered-mental states towards enlightenment without much of a kick. The only good thing about their drinks was the absence of a hangover.
So when Aspendritus Goodleaf offered me a drink from his crystal flask, I had to do the polite thing and accept it. Then he went into the half hour long ceremony of opening, pouring, and giving thanks to the forest spirits for providing the "sacred draught". It reminded me of those people who fussed over letting a wine breathe and properly decanting it before drinking. Bunch of pretentious assholes. Bet they got it from Elves.
